Challenge Groups are here to provide support while you create newer, healthier habits. If you’ve ever made a New Year’s resolution or you have purchased a gym membership, personal training sessions, or workout program in the past; you may have noticed that your enthusiasm fades quickly. When I began my own fitness journey, Challenge groups were not around and I struggled to workout daily … I beat myself up over missing a workout here and there, I constantly wondered if I was eating enough or eating “correctly.” It took me a long time to build healthier habits and overcome the many misconceptions I had about adopting healthier habits.
Everyone needs to start somewhere. Those who have transformation stories were once beginners themselves. Working with a coach can help you get through the first 30 days of adopting a new habit. A coach can help you break down your goals into baby steps. If you are struggling, a coach will help you find ways to be successful. A coach can connect you to a network of people that want the same things as you.
I get it. You’re busy, you’ve got a lot going on in your life. You are trying to spend less time on your phone, you need a break from social media. I understand! I’ve been there! I’ve got a lot going on too. I promise that my Challenge Groups will be packed full of USEFUL, RELEVANT information that is focused on bringing you to the next level…whatever that level is for you. You are not comfortable sharing photos, your weight and measurements with a lot of people. That’s ok, I will ask you to record where you are, but not share that information with the group. All I really need you to do is commit an extra 15 minutes (or less) a day to the group to support others and cheer for yourself.
If you happen to fall behind in a group, that’s ok! Catch up when you can or join a different challenge group if you need. I run several types of Challenge Groups throughout the year and you can join another one, once life settles down.
Fitness Program + Shakeology Challenge Groups
These Challenge groups are a supportive environment where you can focused on building new habits without judgement. These require a Challenge Pack Purchase and I require you to complete workouts for at LEAST three days per week and improving your nutrition with adding Shakeology to your diet for at least five days per week. You can purchase a DVD program or you can use a program from Beachbody on Demand (Paid Club Membership Required). Challenge Groups are run through My Challenge Tracker app and are usually 4 weeks in length. In the app you will log your workouts and Shakeology as well as see daily posts from me.
Shakeology Challenge Groups
Do you need to make drastic changes to your diet, but you hate eating vegetables or fruit? Are you constantly on the go, but do not have healthy options at your disposal? Shakeology could be the solution for you. While there is no replacement for a nutrient-dense diet, Shakeology can be a way for you start improving your diet without much effort. Our focus for this type of Challenge Group is to drink Shakeology daily for 30 days as well as learn how to add more nutrient-dense foods to your diet. We will use the My Challenge Tracker app to log our Shakeology. If you are not ready to commit to a full 30 days, you can order the 7 Day Sampler, or if you prefer the vegan formula, you can order the Vegan Sampler.
Workout Program + Shakeology + Portion Fix Challenge Groups
Our focus with this type of Challenge Group is to get you results. Quickly. You are required to follow any Beachbody Fitness program for at least three days per week, drink Shakeology daily, and use Portion Fix to track your food intake. If you need a lifestyle change and need to learn how to make changes quickly, this is the combination for you. Through the My Challenge Tracker app you will learn how to add more nutrient dense foods to your diet, how to set and achieve your fitness goals, and more. Give me 4 weeks and I’ll show you are capable of accomplishing! I recommend purchasing a Challenge Pack (DVD or BOD) along with Portion Fix (only if the program does NOT come with the containers) to receive the highest savings.

Answer ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to the following questions. Becoming more active or starting a fitness routine is very safe for most people. However, some people do need to check with their doctor before coming more active or starting a fitness routine. If you answer ‘yes’ to one or more questions, I need to you call or schedule an appointment with your doctor and tell him/her about the questions you answered ‘yes’ to BEFORE we discuss starting a fitness routine or before you start a fitness routine. Your doctor will be able to determine how you should proceed with a fitness program that is safe for you.
1. Has your doctor ever said that you have a heart condition AND that you should only do exercise recommended by a doctor?
2. Do you feel pain in your chest when you do exercise
3. In the past month, have you had chest pain when you were not doing physical activity?
4. Do you lose your balance because of dizziness, or do you ever lose consciousness?
5. Do you have a bone or joint problem (for example, back, knee, hip, or shoulder) that could be made worse by a change in your physical activity?
6. Are you currently taking any medication prescribed by a doctor for blood pressure or heart condition?
7. Do you know of any other reason (for example, a change in health or pregnancy) why you should not exercise?
If you answered ‘no’ to all of the questions. It’s time to get started!
