Acts of Wellness was created for the woman that desperately wants to feel better physically and mentally, and is inhibited by her bank account, her & her family’s schedule, and lack of encouragement to put herself first.
Acts of Wellness is a self-coaching guide to improving your mental and physical wellness. It is made up of 4 Acts: Kindness, Sleep, Nourish, and Move. Within each Act, there are three wellness-focused tasks to choose from.
Physical and mental wellness is influenced by our physical and mental health. Health is more than the absence of disease or disability. Health is more than reaching a certain weight. Health is more than achieving a certain body type. Health is about recognizing when our actions are improving our well-being and when our actions are harming our well-being (wellness).
Acts of Wellness is made up of beginning steps to improve your wellness and lay the foundation for future steps. It encourages you to choose an Act daily, weekly, or whenever you think of it to improve how you feel.
This wellness guide includes my education, my experience as a mother, and what I learned from my own wellness struggles. The information in this guide might suck and it might help you understand why you are struggling to achieve your wellness goals.
